With a 60-year reputation and 200 hospital staff, their aim is to provide outstanding private healthcare in a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment.



Claremont was facing issues with its primary IT service partner which wasn’t providing the speed of delivery of goods, accurate stock levels and communication. Without excellent service from partners, the organisation cannot not run at the pace required to provide their patients with a high-standard service. Claremont needed an IT partner that could provide a quick turnaround with the ability to deliver goods next day, be able to help with important decisions regarding its IT infrastructure in addition to excellent communication throughout the wider-teams.


Previously, Claremont dealt with several suppliers for a number of its IT requirements. This caused difficulties across the organisation as multiple sites had had differing IT systems, and they therefore desired an IT provider capable of supporting all aspects of its IT needs, from supply to managed services, support and day-to-day advice.



The pure technology group (PTG) began supplying hardware to Claremont Hospital, and within 6 months, were recommended to Aspen Healthcare’s head office to become the preferred supplier for all 9 facilities across the UK. The hardware supplied included endpoints, headsets, monitors and peripherals. This gave the organisation the cohesion they needed in order for the group to perform to the best of its ability by having a single point of contact. PTG were additionally able to save Clermont on its costs due to the scale-up of goods bought for all 9 sites. 


Once the hardware had been rolled out, PTG then implemented managed services, inclusive of licensing, a full suite of Microsoft 365 applications for desktop (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Skype for Business, Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies.  After this success, PTG was asked to provide a proof of concept for Sheffield Orthopaedic Ltd, which led to the migration of its mailboxes from on-premise Exchange servers to Exchange Online. PTG now provides the full suite of Microsoft 365 applications to all sites. Based on the successful implementation of the O365 hybridisation, the rest of the group is soon to follow to achieve maximum efficiencies and synergies across the group.


In addition to hardware and managed services, PTG support Claremont Hospital with the maintenance of its servers, video conferencing facilities, CCTV and the implementation of Wi-Fi systems. 


PTG is regularly included in the IT management calls, advising strategically on how the organisation can move forward and recommending new technologies to help the business achieve its strategic goals. The partnership between Claremont Hospital and PTG is set to develop with upcoming projects in the next few years.
