As a reward for over-achievement, the group sent 16 members of staff on an all-expenses-paid trip of a lifetime to Reykjavik, Iceland.
The trip consisted of two nights In Reykjavik with an action-packed agenda full of exciting activities which included visiting the iconic Blue Lagoon, snow-mobiling across an Icelandic glacier and touring across the Golden Circle in a Mercedes monster truck.
The pure technology group prides itself on its people, sending the team on this trip to Iceland was in recognition of teamwork, hard work and dedication, as well as some outstanding results.
Paul Nelson, Account Manager commented on the trip:
“It was incredible, I’ve never worked somewhere that makes me feel part of a family and rewards you for hard work like the pure technology group do. I got to celebrate my birthday out there too and it's honestly one of the most memorable birthdays I’ve ever had. Thanks to the team and thank you to the company for the experience of a lifetime”
James Howcutt, Finance Assistant commented:
“Iceland was amazing. I’ve only been at PTG for 5 months and going to Iceland gave me the perfect opportunity to get to know my colleagues on a more personal level, while also ticking something off my bucket list. I am truly grateful to the group for rewarding us.”
Stephen Everiss, Group Technical Consultant also commented:
“After an awesome time in Iceland, the sentiment that I work with my family rings true. We work hard and play hard, and it’s this that gives us the motivation to do what we do, as well as we do. I always believe the people make the party and after a few days with my PTG family, I can’t argue with that. Getting thrown from a snowmobile across a glacier to a peaceful float around a lagoon, Iceland has been a first-class experience and one I won’t forget thanks to the people I enjoyed it with.”
Recognised to the Investors in People Gold Standard, the pure technology group understands the importance of investment in its people. This was a trip well-earned by the team and will be one of many to come.
